Another excellent Halloween night in Hidden Springs and Hidden Estates! Thank you to all who decorated their house and offered a wide variety of treats, ranging from candy bars and potatoes to pirate eye patches. We had over 300 trick-or-treaters of all ages. Thank you for keeping the tradition and providing a safe and fun atmosphere!
This also concludes our 3rd Annual Halloween Decorating Contest. Our judges (Annie, Leslie, and Sascha) explored every corner of Hidden Springs to find the winning houses - while also providing some amazing decorations themselves!
Here are the 2026 winners in our three categories!
The Most Haunted House award goes to "Creepy Fall" at 5430 Split Pine Ct!
With the girl from Ring, multiple animatronics, including a speaking witch, and a giant skeleton image on the garage doors, this house spooked the judges the most. So good!
Runner-Up: "Skeleton Community" at 5508 Meadow Pine Ct. Last year's overall winner brought back the panel of judging skeletons in yard chairs, the human sacrifice skewer, and a skeleton dog. Great job again!
The Best Not-So-Scary House award goes to the purple witch lair at 7703 Twin Pines Ct!
The six little witches, giant spider web, and pulsing light display brought the Halloween spirit in ghostly purple colors.
Runner-Up: The inviting skeleton on the bench on 7705 Pine Forest Ct. The judges were excited to see a friendly skeleton, paired with a cute projection on the garage doors.
The Best Overall Halloween Home award goes to the swampy graveyard on 7805 Pine Marsh Ct! Located on the corner of Cedar Pine Dr, this front yard display had everything: a multi-tombstone graveyard, zombies coming out of the ground, skeletons hanging in trees, multiple ghostly figures, a flickering light above the entrance, and evil eyes staring out of bushes. On Halloween night, there was even a green foggy swamp effect. Fantastic job!!
Runners-Up: Both, the skeleton graveyard as well as Skinner's Cemetery at 5068 and 5055 Caspian Ct did, once again, a most excellent job! Both houses bring the true Halloween spirit to Hidden Springs!
Congratulations to the three winners!! You will each receive a $25 gift card in the next few days.
We also had a number of incredible houses we want to mention, in no particular order:
